I remember worlds where 6-8hrs after world spawned there were still nice spots to mine

now the yellow areas will disappear fast

its just worse than a lot of previous umbris worlds - comparison; I’m not saying it’s impossible to get a SS

I’m jumping around a lot, got five Umbris mines dug already. I’ll maybe try a couple more areas, then get those and the gleam up ASAP, then go check out the amethyst/emerald areas a bit later once @Soju-VB has the atlases up (a task I don’t envy - look at second shot here, haha) .

… Ok, my last try just turned up the best spot I’ve seen so far. Just one other person working it right now that I saw.

I’m going to go ahead and get this (it is number 6, when you see the tokens) and the others into the stations in a few minutes - might wanna go get em and get your share ASAP. Edit: They’re in, go get 'em!!

This is the problem with the atlas and heat spots, as it’s a relative count!

I found a bright spot and after 45 minutes have ended up with 280 umbris.

Those that say they got a smart stack, how long did that take you?

I would not consider myself a shabby miner, but I can’t work out how you got so much, unless you spent hours systematically stripping every layer.

Particularly for umbris as it’s so spread out over a large elevation

Good series of Umbris hotspots in the region around 335, -1159. I’ll go put some tokens in the station, it will be spot 7. Some gaps between the spots but larger altogether than last one I posted.
