Activity Check from the Community

Last time i see the most time only the same people, that is the ground why i start this topic. I will see which player only read (i hope that more people only read, because i hope we have more as ~10 people who are active).

##What to do here:

  • Do 1 Vote on each Poll
  • Write 1 post here (maybe you can write in the post for what you had voted, or you can write something else)

Edit:
If you don`t want to write something here you can just like it, it has the same effect that i can see how many people read this topic here.

##RULES:

  • Only 1 post from every Person any other post should be delete
  • No discussion here, if you want to make a discsusion over anything from this topic open a new topic for it

##Which should bring this topic here ?
I want to see how active is the community here and how big is the community where only read and how big is the community where is writting active here.

##How often you visit the forum and read topic`s ?

  • visit 2-3 times a day and read all
  • visit 2-3 times a day and read the most, but not all
  • visit 1 time each day
  • visit 2-3 times a week
  • visit 2-3 times a month

Well we have 30 Regulars Boundless Community which are people that have been relativwly active during the last 100 days. (That could mean they hit the requirement 60 days ago and haven’t been online since though)

The first is easier to answer than the second btw. As my post activity is largely based on wether there is a topic that I find interesting enough to write on but then I participate actively.

Also for people who have voted and is now reading this the polls was updated and I know that it at least caused it to sstop registering my vote untill I choose another and then went back to my old vote again.

On request of @Saint_X post moved from below up here:

Thats 138 users online during the last week and and 79 of those have posted at least one post. (For lazy people who dont’t want to check ^.^)

On your menu bar, go to users, then weekly. You can organize the categories by posts read, replies, likes, etc. That should give you an idea of the breakdown of who is reading and who is posting.

I play almost every other day and check the forums 3-5 times a day while reading every post and doing my best to encourage and contribute. I bump into players occasionally that cross paths in my time zone on the US c++ settlement, although I’m yet to find an active player to build and chat with during my active gaming times. Come at me Aussies!

Hmm. Checking in once in a while. I have said what i need to say and will join on Dev posts. But I stopped going into player suggestions and just let them sort themself out.

Been there. done that.

I like the idea of a player driven survey of the activity. I need to disagree on @Thorbjorn42gbf here. The number of regulars is not a good measurement menthod because the requirements are really low for this trust level:

if you’ve loged in with a mobile device the crterium “vistied at least 50% of days” is abolutely no problem without doing anything for it and the other requirements are not a sign of forum activity also. if i consider that even the devlog posts get only ~30 likes (and not roughly all come from regulars) the number of active people in this forum has reached a minimum. it’s also a personal feeling that there are “always the same people” online.

Im confused im suposed to just reply to this to show my activity that i read stuff. Also im like the one that read some then skip the enoying bilion word repsonses and i mostly post something once a day

<-- raises hand to confirm attendance

Nothing else to say other than this just popped into my head for some reason…

i play off and on. when new stuff comes up / out or when i get tired of warframe for a bit.

May be I do the same later … as I will do it in Shroud of the Avatar (where you also have houses that are taken away when inactive for to long time) and also in other games … as long as log in for a while every several weeks or month there will be no pain … I just think to sacrifice a good possibility for a mechanism just cuz some people fear to loose their stuff in a lifetime seems a bit unlogical (as long as the solution is a fair one).
