I need LOTS of copper… x
I used to do it on Boori underneath my base long ago - it was a hilly area and solid hot spot there.
T3/T4 metal worlds would be a good choice though. Still, lush T3 and T4 are a good place to go as well (all depends on biomes on a specific world, as it determines whether there are large hot spots there, which are the easiest to mine of course).
Anyways, I suppose look for atlases of T3 and T4 public worlds and pay a short visit to different planets just to take a look at the atlas and see how the heat map looks like.
Someone might have a sovereign that is extremely good for copper of course. Hopefully they will give you a shout if they have it.

Oh boy do I. I have my favorite planet spend 2 hours and almost get a chest full not just copper but other metals and stuff… go to cards from dragon hub.
Then turn left.
Then look for planet donkey.
You can find the name left side of wall.
Then he has meny portals.
Go in the one that says ruby mine.
And happy mining.
Trust me you will not be sorry.
You can mine up 20 blocks or more if you don’t want silver or gold for more copper.
9 out of 10 beat copper place for me. Hope this helps

This spot is great, only one speed brew in and got over a SS of copper and iron, as well as a bit of gold silver and ruby’s, all thing I use often.

Wow 14 days before i got round to mining that copper, and I’ve been playing a fair bit… Once you get into it boundless has limitless potential. x
