the developers took down my beacon without warning to appease trolls. this is what happened.
in the city of duskmoor, I had a shop the duskmoor players wanted me to renovate or sell my shop. I told them I would sell. they tried to low ball me and say I’ll give you 10hammers. so i said i would sell for 750k just to start high and go down to a price that would fit the needs I settled down for 350k and 10hammers they said they made over 250k a week they said they would take a vote, and decided no. so I said thats cool if you want to change your mind let me know. the next day they put leaves all around my house, entrance and all. so, I reported it to the developer named james. he asked them to remove it. and they did. the developer told me that he didn’t know the history and told me to be nice. I told him that they wanted me to sell and they didn’t want to pay. the next day Aoki a member of duskmoor came to my main house and started to build beacons around me threatening me to move my shop. I told him if he wanted it, he would pay. he said he didn’t care about the shop. yet he keeps trolling me. I would go to my shop and put things in to sell every time I did over the next few days they would come over and say It was a trash shop that looked like ■■■■. and needs to be condemned. They told me I am nothing and I owned nothing. So, I started to renovate the shop and put up two poop emojis one on both sides of my shop and I changed the beacons name to dungmoor as a play on words. I am from the guild called knights of scatland. I am a scat man obviously I would put up some poop. It took me about 3hours to get it just right. I went to sleep around 4am and when I got back on the game my shop was removed. I asked why he would do that and what I did. He said that it may seem unfair, but he removed the beacon so that I wouldn’t have to deal with duskmoor I lost everything I used to build the shop I lost all the time to build the shop and I got nothing out of it. It was my only shop my only real source of income. And he just deleted it because of the poop emoji. He asked them to remove the leaves but just deleted mine. Why would he not ask me before deleting it? I asked him for some compensation for my time and my building mats he said he wouldn’t give any coin because the developers do not distribute coin. That’s fine so I asked how he thought this was fair. He gave trolls what they wanted, and I got nothing. The person that reported trolls got deleted. so, I asked him if he deleted my shop because I don’t cash shop and if he only supports people that pay better. He still hasn’t given a reply.
I know a few other people that have had the same problem with duskmoor, and yet they are still here trolling others and the developers are not doing anything about it. Supporting people like this will only ruin the games player base. Make the victims hate the developers. Or just make people stop playing.
I originally just wanted to sell my shop to make some money, now I just want my shop back
What do you guys think? Let me know if they did right or wrong.

This was a rather sensible neutral response and I see no problem with it, be more willing to work with others as I have in the past and you wont get pushed to the edge like this. Just accept it, it’s only a game.

Really? You did this after getting james involved? You really shot yourself in the foot with that one. If you want to take a stand against something you cannot give them anything they can use against you. Furthermore it looks like james asked you not once but two times to be friendly with your neighbors, You ignored both warnings.
Also „Scat“ can be quite offensive to some people, and naming your beacon that contains that word is not the most intelligent move on your part.
You ask if the devs are in the right. In my book, yes they are in the right since your actions after the two warnings james gave you is unacceptable
Whatever case you may have had against them lost alot of standing by your actions. You did this to yourself.

Esto quiere decir q si un grupo de al menos dos personas deciden quedarse un terrirorio lo unico q hay q hacer es molestar y boicotear a los q esten ya alli no? Simplemente con no poner nada que afecte a alguien, se puede ocultar una baliza extraña con follaje para que nadie le pise y encima sale perdiendo al que le molestas, creo que esto se os esta yendo de las manos, con esto ayudais a los trolls a manifestarse sin ninguna consecuencia y mi pregunta es, ¿ hay que ser troll en este juego para caer bien a los desarrolladores y que baneen a las personas que realmente juegan?

because you give me to understand that the game is for the developers and their friends and the rest of the people who have invested hours and money in the game, we are sure that they will erase us without previous notice, simply because a few decide that this place belongs to them , so you can sell the game worldwide if it’s only for a few

I don’t think it was fair because they got everything they want (to forcefully remove you) despite breaking rules. They are not innocent either, both blocking in your beacon which is clearly against ToS and then trying to plot PvP your home beacon with garbage. You were provoked into a response and then punished when you responded. To be clear I think you’re both in the wrong, it’s just that only half the punishment was handed out. The fairest outcome in this case is that no one gets the land because everyone acted childishly.

Anyway, people doing crazy things in game like what you did to his shop and his home and then saying that it’s just a game ruffles so many feathers with me you would not believe!
If it’s only just a game, why make such a huge deal about his shop?
People dishing ■■■■ out need to stop using that phrase while any sane person can clearly see they are taking it way too darn serious themselves…

Its hard to make the right judgement at any given time. There is plenty things to take in account and i’m sure the admins/mods are doing what they can to make their judgement fair. yet when judgement falls, ther eis always someone hurt and they take that in account before making one. So dont blame them for being human and put the problem between you and the other person in their shoes. They just are trying to make the best judgement.
This is how i think they review any situation.
Step 1 is analyse what the problem is.
Step 2 Calm both sides down and see if they can let it calm down and see if the two can life besides eachother.
Step 3 is to take action if one or the other is crossing the bounderies and make a reasonable judgement.
(wait what bounderies? isnt this game boundless? )

I do not agree as seen in the images have been locked between foliage that is penalized in the game puts it in the rules of coexistence and it turns out that they erase the one that is suffering from harassment and not the harassers and I would like to know why

I don’t know the whole story, but IMO removing someone’s plot to settle what sounds like a more minor dispute seems kind of extreme. Poop emojis should be allowed. It’s not a swastika or a weenie. Also, I remember there being a bunch of complaints a few months back when Duskmoor was Black Light, with other people complaining that Black Light was walling people off as well.
That said, I think this shows why private worlds would be a good thing. Or at least private towns.
