Then when you’ve got enough or are just tired and want to head back, you reclaim the beacon.
Then head back to your home beacon and reclaim the stuff in your waiting storage at your leisure.

People already harvest resources in groups or using other accounts as mules. If we could do this on Exo planets, it might be an issue

Reclaiming a beacon triggers expiration as though it just ran out of fuel with the beacon contents remaining protected until fully removed and turned into Reclaim storage to be claimed elsewhere. This has a 2 hour time-delay on new beacons before you can perform the operation for abuse management. (This matches the minimum possible natural expiration time found by creating a Campfire, and then converting it to a Beacon without adding extra fuel).
