whenever i try to refuel my beacon with timbers or leaves or anything it says thats invalid. is anyone else having this issue or am i just forgetting to do something obvious.
we have beacon fuels now - go to crafting table and use leaves to craft beacon fuel
higher tier fuels giving more beacon time are craftable through workbench

Not a bug, but what’s really interesting is that you can’t overfuel, which breaks the game for me.
You have higher tier fuels to get further in fueling. If you could add 10 basic fuels to get 20 weeks a lot of new players would do it and if they give up playing within few days and what is left is their beacon blocking area for a few months. Some could grief easily by placing a beacon and building a big sand wall to overshadow your house or base and fuel that for months with cheap fuel made with foliage. That’s why no overfueling there. You want your beacon be sorted for three month? Spend time needed to acquire high tier fuel. Show that you are serious and dedicated player and not a quick-jump-in-messer.
I think it’s a good thing.
