If I had mined an area of the size of one beacon plot, would it make sense to reward the player with one plot per equally mined space?
Or rather an area twice the size of a plot per plot?
I’m trying it out at the moment - I’m mining Metamorphic Rock with a stone hammer. Seems like the amount of mined stone (size of one beacon plot) will roughly fill the mining gauge for a new beacon plot.
I was simply wondering, whether the gauge fills by mined good or per hammer hit on a resource. It would make more sense if it fills by mined material. And the gauge would fill faster with higher tier tools.
Just found out: Mining bar fills per tool-hit and not by already mined resource. This means, beacon plot progression should be equally slow/fast with each tool, regardless of tier.
