Would it be possible to keep the adjacent block interaction, like with corruption etc, after chiseling?

I like the way this works and it seems a shame to lose it when shaping blocks:

Gleam blocks against dirt on left look great, chisel is good too, but of we could keep the texture blend (or whatever you want to call it), it would look even better.

I think you’d get issues on the other side of this. Like lots of people use the fact that the edge interact behaves that way to create various visual impacts.

Maybe a way to restore that edge blending would be better, like a tool or something that adds it back.

Block edges do blend with some chiseling!
