I bought the Boulder Chips to complete the challenge, placed them, then mined them and it didn’t count toward my journal entry.
I’ve done this, before, for other entries and it worked before.
Anyone else have issues like this?
Normally, these objectives requires mining resources that spawn naturally on worlds, so placing them down and doing it that way will not count.
What objectives are those for the other entries that you mentioned?
The first two Boulder challenges worked a while back, when I was able to get on more often, so I thought it would work on this one, but apparently not
I know at one point you could get achievements done by breaking shelves with the items in there and it counted. But they patched that as it was not intended to be done that way. So I wonder if that’s the same thing that happened with this. Kinda makes sense you would have to actually find it out in the open and not from a shop stand and place it down. So maybe the others you completed was before the patch?
Probably, not sure when the patch was, so can’t say for a fact
