Recently I have seen amazing creations and I just thought i’d love to be a part of that. So recently I’ve started on some blueprints and designs, along with realizing them in minecraft (creative mode) and whilst they are not the best in the world I think they get their point across, whilst being open to suggestions from the community. Before I realize anything though I was wondering if anybody would be interested in seeing a large dwarven kingdom. I think with the current design in the game and the characters it would fit well.
I can see it as a large trade centre or city, but carved into a mountain side.
Whilst erebor would be the main contender for the the design ethic it will mostly be of a BOUNDLESS FLARE
I feel this project would definity take a long time to build. An estimated finish time is from 8 - 13 months(and this is not providing how often I would be online or not) and this is with help.
I am not here to beg nor enforce an idea but I usually have a large idea I like implenting into these types of games, and rarely have I done it with support, and then taking it chill for the rest of the game.
If anybody is willing to help and enough people are willing I will eventually upload a complete topic based on this alone with specifications etc.
I must be clear though please don’t feel as if you have to help, nor feel pity if you are not. As I always state this is just an IDEA and not a reality and AM PERFECTLY FINE OF TRYING IT ON MY OWN.
If anyone finds this to be a bad idea or wants to suggest ideas/tweaks please go ahead and say so, I want this to be a collaborative project and not something I just came up with.
Before you reply with any kind of comment please be aware that the core aspect of this build will probally not start until release of 1.0 due to possibility of server wipes and/or to get the full range of materials to build with.
On the offside that server wipes are not performed or some form of keeping old builds is added excavations and exterior builds MIGHT proceed.
Do not ask as to what world or coordinates this is in as I have not yet ironed out the details in full.
I wanted to see how much support I would find before taking it ahead.
Some part of me also feels like something like this already exists and if that is the case please inform me as I was not aware and am sorry for any inconvenience or unoriginality.
I must note that I will not be online at all times and maybe not even for a day or two which is why, if I ever upload a specification page there will be slots for co - overseers and leaders within groups.
Collaborators with this project will have full access to the wealth of “EREBOR” and will be credited in full(as to be honest there are much more talented people out there than me and will do more work than I)
PLEASE NOTE: If you apply you are NOT tied down to anything. If either the build does not start for a while and in the meantime you start your own project or change your mind do not worry, you can not show up at all if you want( but a heads up would be nice). Or even if you only want to help for a while and then quit then that’s fine as well: you will still be credited although I cannot garuntee that you will have access to the community “wealth” aspect nor have access in any beacon territories to tweak areas or build your own place.
Come back when you’ve ironed out some details, found a location, got some layout ideas (that fit with terrain), showed us some concepts of theme, and have stuff for us to get on with now.
You should start the build on your own and when you have something for others to go off then we can talk, you don’t want others to not create your ‘style’ that you haven’t defined.
Your choice.
Yea totally know that now just thought of that after posting. Thanks for the input anyway and will do. I have a few locations marked and some concept art and designs. It was more so to see if anyone would be willing before I even try to muster help before starting but hey. I’ll try to make a start sometime soon and I’ll see about excavations and statue work. Sorry for any inconvenience.
