I still log in and build something when i feel for it, done so since 2016, what happening tomorrow we never know.
I build a whole universe on test-server, with my own made planets, with my own made biomes in worldbuilder. If they shut down tomorrow i had my time. And nobody can take that away from meâŚ
I will probably find something else to waist my brain onâŚ

I suppose thatâs a valid reason. Might as well play it until itâs fateful day if you still enjoy it. All the games end at some point, personally dont believe it should be a factor in discouraging anyone from playing a game. Noone would play games then.

Happy to see Iâm not the only one who noticed it and was bugged by it. Itâs the sort of thing that makes me go crazy, though. I think it should be fixed one day. Itâs just the texture being done the wrong way, that could be fixed in less than an hour by anyone competent.

Not trying to defend the actions of the devs or anything, however to answer your question of âWhy would they waitâ ⌠from a corporate world, there are ALOT of reasons to wait. for example, look at âNo Mans Skyâ. The dev team of that game had alot of desires, high hopes, and wants to put into there game. They had a goal and a desire, and they stated all these promises that yea, they would have multiplayer and they would have ship battles, and you would be able to see your friends, etc. None of that was at release and the company almost went under due to all the complaints. Skipping forward many years, the game make a large comeback and they now deliver on what they stated originally. However, it was a huge marketing mistake for them announcing all the items at first.
For all we know, James has all these ideas and wants, but doesnât want to make promises that he might not be able to keep 100% or that might take another few months / years. From a corporate Development mindset, I can understand where they are holding back on telling us till they know for sure, however IMO they should at least be like âhey guys, I know you are all looking for an update. itâs taking a little longer then expected to iron out the details, but rest assured that things are in the works. More news to come shortlyâ ⌠that would pacify alot of people⌠but instead, itâs radio silence.
James and team arenât a marketing / social expert and the team isnât a AAA company, I get all that. But communication is key, without it they are going to lose everything⌠so yes, I agree they should give us something, however I can also see where they are holding off providing us the details till they can solidify everything, thatâs assuming thatâs their hold up.

remember when we asked turning option on 2block portals
waited 2years for it and then a dev said hey i fixed it took me an hour 
so if i calculate recentering that thing takes 10minutes of work and half a year of waiting once decision is made to fix it lol
have a slight feeling the post delay has to do with the nice weather and holidays
