didn’t know what category to put this in so…

i saw an awesome build along my travels (check picture)

Don’t mind my elf mage in half plate, she is friendly

The point is, do these plots NOT take up the entire area (no one can plot above or below someone elses plot?)

With that rueling does this build (as epic and useful as it is) not take up plots which could be used by new people joining the game? (it’s got to be over 25 plots big)

Not having a go, just trying to ascertain what is actually fair or not? IMO this build might not be fair simply because it takes up a massive area which cannot be readily seen from the ground

Make you’re own desicioun

First, that looks kinda cool!

Second, though I understand how you feel it has always been since the beginning a 100% legal.

Third, maybe we need more tier 1 planets and the “planet rental” options

One plus for this type of build is that the ground plots become a nature preserve. And if there are gems below, no jerks can wall them off with their “legitimate strategy” lol.

It is no different than any other city/town on a low level planet built on ground level, or even underground. Still takes up plots, but is accessible to new folks to see another side of what the game and the community has to offer.

why does it matter to anyone whether you build your desire up in the sky of at a planets core. it is the essence of boundless. you have the freedom to build what you want where you want. Only restrictions is profanity or purposeful trolling someone which is hard to prove anyway. if its a free plot and you can beacon it, go for it. If you enjoy a build, then there is no waste.

My only personal opinions of bad builds are the ones where immature players move into your city that you have created after a specific kind of design or theme, and they not care about it and take over it with their theme instead, and all your work is for nothing. This has been a issue in this game and I will always hate this problem until they fix it. Which they have said they are working on it.

Tana is t2.

Not 100% sure, but I think that’s a new mall. I was running around looking to buy a few specific items and ended up there (via Legendville Hub). It’s actually a really cool place from what I could see so far. They may have built in the sky to avoid wasting tools & time digging into the land. I built over water for that very reason.

As mentioned, it can be kinda helpful when players plot in a way that doesn’t physically block access to the land/resources. You can still harvest everything and it will regenerate. The PS hub and some other places actually plot resources like gleam and yam farms for everyone to enjoy. :+1:

Yup, this is actually why I have no problem with sky builds. Ppl can still harvest all resources below them, which could include nice ores, gems, and gathering plants. Also any especially beautiful landscape will keep coming back.
You just have to be really careful if you plan to build close to them.

Thanks for the mall screenshot.
Its Legendville Mall, and anyone that wants a 1x3 plot is welcomed to one. portals to several hubs and personal portals are available.

Edited:
Whole 2nd floor down will be a planetarium Display
Also its around 400-420 plots big

The great thing about this game, is that players are able to do whatever they like, as long as they’re within the COC. Imagination is the only limit.

They were only asking peoples’ opinion on these builds, and it seems like people generally like them.

Thats true. My response was more direct than necessary, I shall remove it.

I see no reason, it’s all relevant to the discussion

Plots are plots… if people want to plot high, it’s legit just like people who want to mine low… You’re over thinking it… if someone plots on the ground… they own all the plots up top too… so nothing really changes based on the height you plot. Also 25 plots are nothing… some people own thousands like myself.

yeh i was (as i sometimes am) a bit stressy back then… i was just shocked and beleived (still do) that is a bit of a cheap move in the sense of, someone is looking to put a beacon down… but they cant because there is a massive city above their heads and they don’t notice this… so in a way it blocks other people from placing a beacon…

however, i am now over my previous shock and it is a beatuiful thing what the Legends have done with the skyway - but i still think its not exactly fair to people who would have no clue

But isn’t it kinda hard to miss. It casts a shadow on the ground. And can be seen in the sky from a good distance away.

You will have the same issue with someone building underground and in that case you have no chance to see it. That is just how plots work
