Prompt: Write a short poem for a necro thread making references to the game world of Boundless.
In the vast expanse of Boundless skies,
Where gleaming portals materialize,
A thread once dormant, silent, unseen,
Echoed whispers of worlds that have been.
Beacons alight in a dance of old flames,
Echoing players, their journeys and names.
Centraforge sparks, and hammers that sing,
In this necro thread, memories cling.
Amidst gleaming Oort stones so rare,
New pioneers pause, to read and to share.
Met by gleaming spires, gleam towers so tall,
The past speaks out, to those who’d recall.
“Why wake this ghost?” some voices cried,
While others cherished the lore inside.
A bridge between now and the days long past,
The necro thread made memories last.
So as chisels carve and grapples swing wide,
Remember the tales where old worlds reside.
In Boundless dimensions, portals and seams,

I wonder what would happen if I started a thread asking if we could stop necroing the necro thread. 
Would it turn into necro inception? Or would it cause the necro threads to start multiplying like some sort of necro fractal?

I think this thread has become a little too fixated on new and creative jokes without spending nearly enough time/energy on the original post.

Don’t try to derail this thread with an on-topic comment! 
For me, the most annoying thing was when someone bumped an old dev thread from beta with an awesome idea that never get implemented. I started to read the hundreds of comments and comments from devs and think “that sounds really awesome” just to notice that the post is many years old.
This problem shouldn’t happen again as all current dev threads close after being silent for 14 days - which, I think, is a good solution to that.
