Bouncing around on lots of games, and for social media I’m pretty active over on X, @NMS_Screenshots there (though it isn’t all video game stuff, I ramble about lots 
). About made all our Helene repairs - house flooded with it, I live in WNC, but we’re ok and among the few that had flood insurance.
Making this post, I thought about explaining my reasons for leaving now… I’ll hold off and keep it vague: I can’t rule it out but I need to see the path they take on some fronts, I do miss the game and even have vivid dreams about it. And I always try to keep an open mind and keep hope for positive changes on all things.
Actually, if any are curious I can jump on and test Boundless on my Asus Rog Ally X. Fairly recent acquisition - I LOVE this thing! I loved Steam Deck too, but aside from the price, so many advantages over it. Looks, feel, battery life, not dealing with a million Proton updates… sort of a combo for on the go PC and Xbox gaming both.

It looks like it popped a notification for a planet I bought before I left - there is a thing with Boundless on Steam I’ve noticed where if I log in on a different device it will pop the sovereign notification up again (and give the new name, if I renamed it). Those were certainly addictive!

Speaking of the ROG, my son got one gifted to him for Christmas, but we wound up returning it and just buying him a gaming laptop. He said he didn’t like the controls (oddly he plays console a good bit), but I think I converted him over to PC long ago lol.
I had considered keeping it, but since I already have a gaming laptop myself and my desktop, I didn’t see a real need. I also just missed the ease of movement mouse and kb gave me too, but that’s just an aside. A positive for the ROG was you can install Discord on it…

One thing too with it, it can be docked like a Steam Deck, so can use another controller or M&K when not on the go.
The Armory Crate makes for good ease of use, a bit of a learning curve but pretty easy to get going with it. Definitely having Game Pass Ultimate makes it more worth it to me too. I play more Xbox games on it than others, also some I purchased not on GP but PC games of theirs.
Just watched Xbox Direct - Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is one of the ones I’m really anticipating. April 24th release date announced. Sort of Lost Odyssey vibes from it, beautiful style and music too.
