I had hoped I would find the answer already but it may just be me, I recently started and was trying to craft some tools but for some reason the crafting table does not detect that I have any stone on me, I have a stack of 5 metamorphic stone
You haven’t turned that into Metamorphic Stones just yet… You should see a block recipe in the Crafting Table in order to create those.
The good news is that chunks of rock break down into larger quantities of stone, too, so you should have more than enough to complete the job.

hehehe, I had the same prob at the beginning ^^ … also, it took a while before I could tell by my eye what’s rock and what’s stone
