Can't join worlds and game crashes

After the texture update i’ve had a lot of problems with joining worlds. The game also crashes regularly.
Here’s a log of me trying to connect to worlds, I can only connect to a few worlds. At the end, the game crashes.

You’ve hit a known bug in the windows version of the websocket library we are currently using. Restarting the game usually will fix it. It seems to occur more often the longer the machine has been on so a reboot may help.

Do you know when it’ll be fixed? Or is there something I can do to make it stop?

I am having the same issue…I cant change worlds, the game crashes and sometimes it takes a couple tries to get it to work. Restarting, trying to change worlds, crash, restart again, try again

Can you give us some more details:

  1. Which world are you attempting to connect to?

  2. How frequently does it fail?

  3. Are there any msg when it fails?

  4. Can you share a gist of the game log when it does fail.

ok it happened again…@james i am trying to go to different worlds to collect grasses and leaves and such…and it doesn’t seem to matter which world it is happening everytime!! :frowning: where do i find the GIST is the game under Steam in the directories?

yes it does - everyday the same :frowning: doesnt matter what i do. It never did this before the last update, its weird

the only worlds that it seems to be ok with US east servers as long as i only switch worlds once. More than that and it crashes again.

Any news to why this is happening? is it only me and a few others, or is it more widespread? :worried:

Doesn’t seem like it’s happening to a lot of people.

It doesn’t crash for me but I do often hit the issue of having to try twice to change worlds.

It will happen to any Windows user, maybe more so on later version of windows. We are working on a fixed version of the library to see if that resolves it.

Now I am not crashing but I have trouble with only a few worlds but the one I have trouble a lot with is agabab Some reason I lag like crazy there. Also Some reason Vadvy doesn’t even apear on my world Selection sometimes.

We push a quick update with an update websocket in so let us know if this has helped.
