I wanted to try this game again after a long time, and forgot my login data. After recovering it, i can log into the websites without issue, but the game itself tells me my password doesn’t match. What now?
there’s some desync that happens sometimes with steam. may not fix but worth a try: exit steam (not just close to tray icon but actually go to the steam menu and hit exit). once you restart it should hit the auth servers fresh and that might give you a better chance. I would expect support to reply here tomorrow morning, it’s their evening right now sadly for you
