I just finished my Diamond gear forging but there’s problem.
I made Devastating Damage boon level to 7 or 8 to hammer/axe/shovel.
But after using setting resin, it turned to level 1 boon.
Check it pls. Thanks.
PS. I didn’t watch all forging animation. It can be a problem?

That +20 damage you’re seeing is Devastating Damage 8 coupled with “All Affect Adjacent.” The All Rounder boon significantly reduces the base damage per swing. Getting Devestating Damage works against the negative damage and the final result shows up like that. Example:
Edit: the discrepancy in damage you may be seeing is skill effect vs forging effect. Skill effect is how much damage is added because of skills you have unlocked; Forge effect is the same as your screenshots: +20.
