How can I be both connected and disconnected to the world? Is this some kind of philosophical lesson I’m not getting?

Your character disconnected you and is staying in that world, because it thinks your playing sucks. Something like that probably. Rise of the Alien Cat/Bunny like things with weird colours!

edit: logging out and logging in did not help but I did try. . now I get too many active connections.

Same , it is about 20 min i am disconnected. Hownlong shoukd it take for the sever to kick the character?
