So chisels are a lot of fun. But, often I accidentally missclick with it and chisel out the wrong part, having then to remove the block entirely, place it again and chisel again, leading to the unnecessary durability loss. I would like to see a visual indicator on the block of which part would be chiseled out (removed) when I click it when having a chisel equipped in either hand, so I can avoid accidentally ruining my build and draining durability (which on precise chisels drains even faster if you need to do several modifications per block).

Do you play on a PC?
There is a visual indicator that can help with this. It won’t show you how the block is going to change, but it will show you a better idea of what you’re hitting.

I always hold an Unchisel in my off hand for when I make a mistake chiselling rather then breaking and replacing the block.
