Compass showing: Off World -?

My compass seems to be stuck saying ‘Off World - ?’ I have restarted the game and it stays the same:

You are tracking a place or person in your settings/menu. Remove it and that will go away.

I think this is really an issue, the current location shouldn’t be hidden by you tracking something, it hinders hunting and makes it confusing for many players.
