Compatability

nvm, this post can just be deleted.

The game could have worked on that OS if it still was browser based

Actually, new query. Has anyone tried running Boundless through chromes remote desktop app? More specifically, devs, do you think a Chromebook can play Boundless through the chrome remote desktop app?

It’ll probably “work” but I imagine the framerate wouldn’t be very good, you could probably test by just streaming video with the remote desktop app, if that can sustain a decent framerate then it might work. Typically however those remote desktop apps aren’t optimized for remote streaming video/games. However that sort of thing is possible (see steam in home streaming etc) so it depends on how they’ve implemented the chromebook app.

NECROMANCY!

I have a PC that I plan on playing the game on, but I also have a Pixelbook. I think the Pixelbook meets all of the HW requirements (ooh, I didn’t think about GFX, so maybe not), and I run Linux apps on it. For that reason, I’m going to test out running Boundless on it once the game releases… Just to try it.
