I found out, in order to craft a brick block of 2nd refinement levl, one needs to press a button once for each single brickblock which is made. If you have 50 stone blocks you need to repeat pressing for 50 times. Which is a fun factor to a certain extend, but is extremely repetetive for this amount of blocks. My idea was to add analogue shoulder button setup too.
Depending on how far you press the shoulder button, the speed of crafting blocks increases. If you have 100 blocks to craft, this could speed up crafting a lot while still being able to estimate how many blocks you have crafted already.It would be an option for larger amounts of items of the same type to be made.
the problem will probably be resolved once they add the crafting stations.
I assume you’ll be able to craft even without stationary tools.
Edit: I think I get your point - maybe the’d add this function with an update of this topic.
From how it sounded and if its similar to other games you will be able to deposit like 100 of some item into station and then tell it to craft them all into w/e item you are trying to craft while being able to walk away from the crafting station and do other stuff.
I may of misunderstood ur last edit but felt like putting this info here just in case.

Interesting. I’m curious if it (machines) is for mass production or for assembling more complicated or technical parts. Probably for both.
As far as I can remember from the concept art of machine parts, even those machines were pretty specialized, which means there won’t be one machine capable of producing each possible item.
Maybe it is even possible to set up an assembly line.
yea im guessing different machines can create different things. The idea of an assembly machine would make me very happy. Games like factorio with conveyors and stuff where you can automate a lot makes me really happy. Even some sort of automated mining system like in fortresscraft evolved would be cool.
