Timers are tied to people that complete them. So its best to have a group of people that dormant gleambow meteors.

Plan to dormant meteors; the goal is to keep the timers up.
The longer the timers go, the more portals allow the gleamtrunks to spawn
Gleamtrunks spawn every 7-8 seconds after the round is complete
That’s what I recall from last Event.

Try to dormant by running out the timers. This will slightly increase the timers
Collect as many Gleamtrunk sacs as possible.
If you want the gleambow meteor mats,
and if you are very careful…
you can harvest it down to 10%.
We’ll only hunt for about 2 hours or so.
