Dest portal orientation

Does anybody knows how to fix this?

This is the destination portal (The one where I created the token). I’m facing East here, al my other portals are facing e/w but this one is stuck on the n/s. I tried adding blocks on both sides and nothing. And honestly I don’t want to spend more shards dealing with this.
The UI has an option to reverse the portal, but not to switch it, so I don’t know what to do.
Also the other end of the portal is facing e/w
BTW, how is this decision made? because it looks like some internal game mechanic that would be nice to know.

Did you originally open this portal when facing the North / South direction? Or was this done on the other portal it’s connecting to?

a rotate 90° option would be cool =)
i heard from the PS4 players that i play with that they often cant really use 2x1 portals because they allways show into the wrong direction.

As far as I know all 1 wide destination portals will always open north/south. Origin portals are opened based on the orientation they were placed.
