Do You Have ANY Plans, Monumental

It’s a strange and unusual ending. It’s hard for me to accept that. The game has a huge potential, it could be very popular.

My whole feeling about supporting Monumental after what’s happened with Boundless is kind of like this:

It’s like discovering an amazing restaurant. The food is incredible, the atmosphere is great, and you keep going back for years because you love it. It becomes one of your favorite places.

Then one day you find out that behind the scenes the staff had been spitting in the food the entire time.

Even if the meals tasted good before, once you know that, it’s hard to go back. The experience just isn’t the same anymore, and supporting that place suddenly feels wrong.

Delicious food is not to blame for being spat at!!)
Although I don’t want to argue, you’re absolutely right.

Why are you doing this? Absolutely everyone sees everything

No problem with expressing your opinions and frustrations, but let’s keep it civil please.

How long are you willing to put up with lies?

I get the frustration but at this point the plan is clear as day. Keep the lights on. I tried getting more eyes onto boundless though. Gave away a pioneer key, mentioning the game to friends, family, youtube comments, steam forums, etc. There is only so much you can do when you clearly are not respected or valued.

I’ve done the same. Tried to get several friends and family to join over the years. They all just say “I can play Minecraft with mods and it does the same thing.”

A very ignorant comment they make. Minecraft has dimensions but the biome specific resource generation from core to ceiling is nice. Portal networks <3, true community based building and shop system…In my heart. Hytale isn’t even matching what Boundless has base wise for world /planet diversity

Come back after an over a year and see the same nonsense of flagged posts because someone has their feelings hurt over someone else’s opinion. Grow up whoever is doing it. Not everyone thinks like you do and your opinion is no more valid than their’s.

Boundless ownersare fwits heh dang tu’ash shu-pal wuh kiht

Yeah absolutely.

I only joined at release so, I’ll acknowledge you as one of the most consistent, and persistent, parts of my Boundless Experience.

I came back today because I remembered that impulsive comment earlier in the week. Kind of funny, kind of a shame. Two years clean I have to start over :face_exhaling:

Tiggs told me I’d have to jump through hoops to get deleted, I figured I could manage

The irony was just too much though.

Well, I’m sorry that I voice my frustrations - originally with James and his complete lack of communication and, now, with Monumental for buying the game simply to “keep the lights on” when another developer or the community themselves could take it over.

As for my account deletion request, that was genuine but, as you say, they won’t do it.

You forgot that in those days, this website only existed so that people could praise the game and talk about how exceptional the game was and how virtuous and amazing the developers were.

It doesn’t matter that you played 800 hours. No matter if you play 800 hours or 1 hour, opinions other than how wonderful everything was were not acceptable.

@Conkuur did great things for the community within the game itself and was villainized and chased off by the glass-feeling ones for speaking facts on this site and making predictions that have all came to fruition.
