Does night time affect the entire planet at once?

Seems like it would, so that if it’s night time anywhere on the planet it’s night time everywhere. Or are planets half-night half-day at any given time?

Does day/night cycle the same for each planet? Like, if it’s daytime at a set of coordinates on maryx, is it also daytime at the same coordinates on raxxa?

Since it’s either day/night on an entire planet the coords do not matter and I’ve run thru plenty a portal from day to night and vice versa so it’s not the same on all planets.
