Nah its a huge spot. ive only ever run into someone elses holes twice, but there is plenty of space to just move to another bit. Havent ever been there without the atlas glowing white so im pretty sure there is plenty for everyone.

Its not a mine per say, like not a confined area that has built tunnels etc. Its just plotted on top of a mountain above a massive hotspot. If you check it out run to the edge and grapple down to 130 then go nuts anywhere back towards the centre. You’ll see what i mean when you see it.

I’ve had to regen areas before I mine before it’s part of boundless life. If you don’t have or can’t afford I feel u should still be able to mine mats. Can’t offer for some because of bombs but pissed if can’t afford them

Do bombs regen ores and things, or just the rock?

rock only. (and sand / dirt and stuff like that. no ore)

Thought so… in which case i dont feel at all bad about not regening when gem mining. In fact its better not to. If see holes i ‘know’ someones been there recently. If i dont see ore i ‘think’ someones been there but usually try for a little longer wasting precious hammer durability.

But wouldnt it take 4 hours for the gems to come back either way? If someone is just mining rock then theres a few more options around and its their silly fault if theyre mining rock in gem hotspots.

Fair enough with gleam etc, but if its just regening rock and you have to wait for ore/gems anyway then i dont see the point.

When shedu reset i was pulling around 2k emeralds each mining session and that would be for a hr each time i went. was using speed brews and emerald 3x3 AOE with extra damage on it. As well eating about 100-200 prime meat each time

The slow road isn’t bad, I kinda envy the first group of people who tore the game open. It kinda hurts an adventurer’s motivation when the going ain’t so fresh and the front lines are light years ahead.

use armour epic, and falling armour and some shielding pie and nothing can really hurt u too much
u need something to clear debuffs too if u want to do meteorites
