Wouldn’t someone buy another boundless game in a different account and use it to gain extra beacon plots? Are we allowed to do that?
Most of the backer tiers already include more than 1 access key. So i don’t think this would be a problem.
But remember that most of the beacons will be earned through progression. So an “empty” account won’t have a lot of plots (only the minimum) and you need to play with the account to get more plots.
But the person can use the access key for themselves in a different steam account and boundless account right?
I’ve read about progressively earning the beacons. But the person can still buy other accounts and use the min space given and train the accounts one by one to get the extra beacon plot. It’s not an issue if it takes a long time to get the max cap on beacons.

I have no problem with a person having more beacons then other if he payed for it (afterwards spent a lot of time to really get all these). And since the discussion moves away from permanent beacons it will be really time consuming to hold everything active.
