Hello all!
IIRC there was a similar topic earlier but unfortunately i couldnt find it.
Balancing waiting time and profitable harvest rounds, when is the best time to harvest? Do you wait until each and every plant is ready? Majority is ready?
Also, assuming no variable (seeds, space, time, cost, etc) is an issue, what is preferrable:
Thanks
I don’t know what you mean by cultivator.
But since I always forget about my crops I always farm then when they are all ready lol

Cultivator… that spitter spray can thing.
Haha thanks though. Most probably this is whats going to happen to me too but i am trying to pretend otherwise.

Ah I don’t think that the spitter spray can thing is worth it.
I used to spray my inorganics but I never really noticed a difference lol.
And the normal crops grow quite fast.

Is this the topic you were looking for?
Yup the growth time is a bit misleading, at 100% the expected growth time, only ~60% of the crops will be ready. To maximize the average crops/hour, you should harvest at about 120% the expected growth time. At that point about 90% of the crops are ready and the crops per hour starts falling.
The data below is a simulation of a 2500 crop field, with an expected growth time of 100 hours.
Data 1 / 100 expected growth hours | 0 / 2500 crops ready (0 %) | 0.00 per hour
2 / 100 expected growth hour…
