So I just got this today

I tried restarting steam and my computer, nothing worked. Also I keep being asked to login when I initially run the game, something that hasn’t happened in a long time.

It appears to be a problem with Steam. Others are experiencing with other games (not all).

It’s a steam api issue …

The auth Steam API is down. The reason this is happening with Boundless and likely not other games in your Steam library is because Boundless validates your identity and ownership via Steam’s API when you start the game. We do this because we want to make sure that we maintain the integrity of the MMO. We don’t want rouge players (somehow) playing as your character, griefing or destroying the worlds.

Sorry to resurrect an old thread. I am getting this error and unable to log into my account. I got kicked off and am trying to log in from 2 different computers. 1 gives error 31 and the other gives the error “Was unable to login to your Boundless account. Please try again later.”
