I’ve never used my ruby grapple, but its partially broken. i made this yesterday, and signed out, when i got back in i noticed that my grapple was partially broken/used.
This might have happened with my hammer too, but i used it before so i dont know.

I’m guessing you died, so your tools suffer permanent damage on death. A lot of people ask how their tools they made disappear and think it’s a bug, whereas it just the death degradation on your tools.
It’s always best not to carry around high level tools during normal day to day activities - only take them out when you are going to for certain use them and are equipped to defend yourself and in a careful mood.
I use a tactic I read on here when I am mining, take nothing with me and then save the location and use a warp conduit if I need to go back for top end tools. (I would credit the person who wrote it but I can’t remember doh!)
