Are you able to be in multiple guilds with the same character? Or do you need to make alts?

You can be in many guilds with one character. I am not sure what the limit it. Only one guild can be set as your primary though. That will effect which guild buffs you receive, the tag that shows, and where your endeavor will go.

5 per character, (this excludes Factions tho)

Only u can activate 1 primary guild at a time
(factions does not count towards the guild count limit)

Don’t you have to have Gleamclub also to be in multiple

Some guilds have a hunters faction and a builders faction. It’s a way to divide the guild up and left different players have different guild buffs depending on their role in the guild.

Gleamclub just means the player doesn’t count in the 100 players per guild limit.

Factions are books you join that can make one, two or three of the guild buffs be different ones. If none are changed in the faction the buffs will remain as in the main book. So like I have a crafting faction. In that faction I replace one buff for the reduced spark and wear. People also make factions because a book can only hold so many people.
