Opening storage and machines should display the contents on the left side of the screen while the right side would look exactly like it does when you open your inventory, including the radial hand dials. This would just be a QoL improvement to cut out the step of closing storage to then equip the items.
I find it oddly frustrating when I’m doing a mass inventory swap and have to spend as much time equipping the items as I do filling the inventory.
