I was building a house on a hill and I had to leave to game for a couple of weeks. Anyway when I get back on there are holes all over the place. They are very annoying and a far as i know they serve to purpose. This looks like a mess and I fall in them whenever I try to build my house. I don’t think it will be to hard to cover up the holes but I don’t want it to happen again. I found quite a few wild stock in these holes. I know wild stock can destroy blocks so is it posable that the wild stock dug out holes.
It’s likely that hoppers have been exploding people there, leaving the holes.
Around my Munteen Air Dock, I tend to go round blocking over the holes, whilst they await regen
They look like trenches and go across for about 30 blocks and I am on a starting world with no hoppers.
Oh. Either someone digging or strange world gen on hopper holes would be my guesses then.
You’ll either have to add the plots to your beacon or just live with the idea that someone can dig into unbeaconed areas around you because that’s how it works. I’ve never seen the wild stock be able to do that–and it’s only something they do while charging, if I understand the mechanics correctly.
As for starting worlds with no hoppers–Core 2 Meteorites bring hoppers. Hooooo boy, do they ever. Fun.
And those core-2 meteors bring cuttletrunks too. I had a couple in my house.
Core-2 meteors on starter worlds are far more dangerous and time consuming than they are worth.
Do hoppers still destroy terrain? I’ve killed zillions on Munteen hunting and havent seen a single one damage the terrain lately… ODD.
Put up a trespasser will be shot sign looks player dug to me if ya have plots ya not need at the moment put them around ya home ya can always undo them
they do
thing is - they only destroy terrain when they explode as a result of their attack
if they explode cause you kill them in the teapot stage then they dont, I think (trying to recall what I saw during last hunts, maybe someone can confirm that?)
I don’t know what made all those holes but world region cleaned it up.
World regen can be your friend–like when you need to mine for peaty soil right next to your plots repeatedly.
The critters are not amused by falling into the holes.
i think someone habing hard time hitting the grass hahah happy its solved
Really? Whenever I see a hopper explode on Septerfon, they leave no holes which I think is lame tbh.
