Does anyone else here remember using GameFaqs and reading text only walkthroughs?
I still turn to GameFAQs walkthroughs on occasion…
Another embarrassing confession - although all the info is free online, I’ve got a thing for physical strategy guides.
Girl! I’m dying right now. Do you remember breaking out those fresh prima guides from their seal from behind the counter because people would steal them from GameStop??
Or were you ever jealous of your friends that got a job there as a teen? Man the late 90s when the new eq xpacs would come out, you’d see all us closet nerds run in before people we knew would get to the mall. It was an unspoken rule when we bumped in to each other doing that. Quick hey and nothing more. Didn’t matter what groups we hung out with, we all knew we shared the same geeky hobby and it was awesome. Online gaming back then wasn’t the same as it is today. Today it’s ‘normal’.
… Or playing arcade games. Fighting games are one genre I was into back then but not now. I still remember seeing Mortal Kombat for the first time, I was 12 or 13, walking up to it just in time to see someone pull off (literally) Sub-Zero’s fatality. At first I was like
but then… oddly fascinated by the game.
I still buy hardback guides with certain games. I only use them for reference once I’ve played through.
Our neighborhood grocery got an arcade installed in the early 90s. As kids we thought it was revolutionary lol parents could shop and we could jam out with 2$ worth of quarters. I played Joust for hours on end. Nostalgia hitting hard.
That is why I bring up - craft-able clothes. More options too…
I have very few complaints about the changes and additions, certainly none that will ruin my love of this game, I have had questions about changes and (certainly recently) been a bit puzzled by at least two relatively small changes made, but the recent update is great. I was pleasantly surprised by the ingredients needed for all forms of glass. Yes, duration for mass craft has annoyed some, but, Boundless has always had lengthy crafting times since I started playing last September. It’s to be expected. Surely…? The amount of gear needed is no big surprise, infact am glad it is what it is! Make bricks? Well, that is a process, to be sure! Lol. There are some that find the grind difficult to balance, though. Jobs, family and even illness and I can sympathise with that. So, I don’t begrudge anyone their grumbles. We each have things going on in our lives and when I read a rant, I try hard to keep that in mind. Most rants come because they/we love this game. It’s passion.
You can not stop complaints about change until you change human nature. lol
Other Game’s Players: Shotgun OP. Plz nerf.
Boundless: Can we maybe get a way to better navigate local shops to search for the item we want to buy, or maybe get it at the best price?
We tend to ask for more, and honestly expect it in Boundless. Our requests are also more complicated than the 4 word requests of other games.
i loved it so much i rebuild an old arcade cabinet wacked in a monitor controls go to chip chip to pc and you can play everything from arcade to consoles “the open source ones ofc”
answer OP question dont think the dev mind they dont reply on the complains but they read them and alot off the times they sneak in fixes our solution in there releases without most people noticing cause once it solved you hear nobody talking about it afterwards
I would love to get into those…
gamefaqs was my go to site for cheats and guides.
Lol GameStop. What about Babbages or EB Games. They were far superior to gamestop. But GameStop had to buy them out and ruin them.
We were lucky to have GameStop lol. My tiny town couldn’t attract a Babbages lmao
Huh?
