Hello guys i saw the epic trailer of Boundless and i am planning to buy early acces. But i wanted to ask you guys how is the game so far ? Can you already do lots of stuff and exploring?

Nope, the devs just finished the port of the engine from java to c++ which was needed for the development and also gave a looot of more speed to the engine (before the port I had about 15-20 frames at max settings, now about 45-50), but it’s still realy basic. The titans (the big thing you saw at the end of the trailer) are not included jet and also the crafting ingame is very basic just for testing. But features are coming slowly and we hope to get some chests, item and character progression and other “gameplay stuff” soon so if you want to play a “playable game” or be part of early development and bug testing and are not only interested in building some nice stuff I would suggest to wait a while and look into the forums to check out what’s new. The announcement and devlog categories are best for that

Exploring is one thing that is really big ingame at the moment. The landscape in the beta worlds are vast and beautiful. Canyons, valleys, small and even huge lakes. Different rock formations and types. Even rough, glowing gemstone blocks called gleam.
I tend to get involved in building only too much that I forget to explore the world. An this is actually a quite striking aspect of the game right now, because the world seems to be untouched and not oversettled still. I did it just now out of curiousity (could ther be a more beautiful place to build or not?). And I was taken by the voxelstyle again.
Nevertheless, exploring still consists of finding other builds or a location for your own settlement. What is missing, are individual aspects like things which you can only find at particular places. There is still a huge lack of content for a non developer like me. Interaction with other players is possible to the extend that you can have little chats ingame, hop around like crazy an maybe build sth. together. But so far this is only my experience - others might have had even nicer moments in Boundless.
Going off of what @Bokke said, exploration is definitely possible and with the game being as beautiful as it is, quite fun. My personal love is for their cave systems, I can (and have) spent hours exploring those.
But don’t expect to find something (except nice views and deep caverns)
