You can turn these larger chests into a sorting machine:
Just put separated stacks in the box, and when you quick-transfer unsorted stacks they will go into your premade stacks to separate iron from copper etc.
Also works with block colors so long as you have an open stack for each color you are trying to sort.

Works for everything…I use that technic even when I mine. So I don’t get rocks I don’t want…love ur work

Down the road it would be nice if we could lock an inventory storage slot or whole chest to ONLY take a certain item in a specific color but that’d be a low priority.
