I really, really, wish it would stop raining down on me.
it stopped raining
it’s raining, again
You’re not from Melbourne Victoria are you lol
it stopped raining!
it’s raining, again
I’m on Storis II, by the way.
How about totem augments that only work and change weather when youre in your plots. Want some rain? Use the augment. Want it to stop? Use the augment too. You can get raining shards like those on high tier planets on low tier planets or the usual snow and rain .
Total agreement . IT RAINS TOO MUCH, CUT IT DOWN PLEASE!
Yes, I was shouting, want the devs to hear me, there is too much rain, I want to not have to try to see when I am running around a planet. But I get rain, snow, fog some sun, fog, rain, snow, fog, sun, fog, snow, rain, fog, sun.
You get the picture, we get Rain (bad) Fog (bad) Snow (bad) Sun (good).
Change your programming that it has sun three time more than the others and it would be better balanced. I play to escape from life, and unfortunately, where I live, we very few days of full sun, mostly cloudy days, and more rain than sunshine days. So, guess what, I get to play a game that has as much Sh&it*t&y weather in game as I do in real life.
Really, really depressing.

I’d like more rain (on sochaltin I).
It’s soothing, relaxing and my builds look a lot better half hidden by a downfall
I’m with you, it rains too much. It chased me off of Angel I…
Almost every Lush planets would rain so frequently … and I hate it.
Rain, snow, dark, particle effects. All part of the reason I no longer play (in addition to burnout). The Devs (who are excellent) did listen regarding snow and building, but this fix doesn’t address my main frustrations of not being able to see what you’re doing a lot of the time.
It is actually pretty hilarious how this also applies exactly to my other big time sink game, NMS.
But yeah, though it isn’t as big a gripe for me in Boundless, I’ve noticed some places where it seems to be raining more often than not. My own spot on Alder isn’t too bad. But like Janna said, too much rain can be depressing - get enough of it where I live IRL!
It snows more often than not here in Melissa Majoria… I’ve built a giant glass canopy to cover my base and keep it sheltered
Rain? What rain… All I see is frequent sand and dust storms.
I would rather have a machine in which you can place an item to change the weather in your plots as you see fit.
Like, you put one item, and the machine consumes it and gets to work for, say, an hour.
• Put ice, the machine will make it snow.
• Put water (after the farming update) and it starts to rain.
• Put sand, you get a sand-storm.
• Put… eh… I dunno, maybe those elemental yellow crystals you get during meteorite events, it’s all sunny and nice.
Etc etc for all the possible weather effects, like those in T6 worlds where you see smalls blue cells floating around.
I’d really like something like that too. Usually I am in the mood for the sandstorms, but often I’d like to switch them off for a minute. Especially since I can’t see the sun, sky, moon or planets otherwise!
I remember our groups start on beckon. Rained for about 8 ingame day cycles straight. Stopped for 5 minutes and started back up again. It was a running joke after awhile.
