What qualities or bonuses do lucient bows have over gem bows?

Are they strong against 2 elements?

as far as I know they are, yes (someone please correct me if I’m wrong)

as if you had two gem bows in one: you can hard hit 2 different types of elemental creatures (1 by a lot, another one a bit less)

the same a lucient element creature have weakness to 2 different gem bows (opposite elements), but 1 of them more and the other less

Lucent gems do indeed have bonuses against 2 elements, but are also weaker against the other 4.

As someone who uses forged blink slingbows (damage 10 + whatever else) however, its more cost efficient to craft multiple gem slingbows and use as necessary. ’

Only reason I use lucent bows is prestige reasons (and the sound it makes when it fires is awesome) - with only damage 10 + persisting pie, its not too much more expensive, but still less efficient.

Do I need Lucent bows to hunt effectively on t7 exo? I have trouble killing things with gem bows.

If you refer to the chart you can see which gem bows do bonus damage (represended by negatives) to t7 enemies

Corrosive and Burn does an extra 30% damage to rift

Chill and Toxin does 30% extra to Blink

Blast and Shock does 30% extra to Umbris

However its not recommended to hunt on t7 without a max damage brew, damage augments, and a maxed forged bow

What do the modifier columns mean?

That represents how much stronger elemental creatures are compared to normal ones. Following the table:

Normal elementals have double health, 50% more damage and armour, but give double drops and 50% more exp

Lucent elementals have triple health, double damage and armour, but give triple drops and 75% more exp - This is why Lucent elementals are harder, because of their massively buffed stats
