I was there doing spreadsheet calculations to figure out how much silver I needed (ended up buying 64, thank you!) and saw multiple ppl run up and buy out entire stacks. No centralized trade means imperfect pricing knowledge means you can make a career out of arbitrage. Sometimes I wish there was a way to limit max purchases per account, for the store owners who want their goods to end up in the hands of builders and not capitalists.
But I digress. These were great deals. As a player with not much money, thank you.
