Your JSB pattern is very compact for an 8x8 plot but that’s only if you use one plot and they can’t be stacked side by side.
Here’s my setup. I get the same number of plants per plot and the plots can be stacked side by side.
For the plants at edge, I use this pattern

I was making mine to stack vertically, but this layout is much better as it works vert + horizontal
When I make a bigger JSB farm i’ll be stealing this layout for sure lol
Thanks for sharing, I had a set up of rows -__-_-__-_-__-_-__ which I thought was pretty efficient, but this works so much better, I figured the easiest way to check if I’ve missed a planted spot is to look along the lines diagonally, not straight.
