New Exoworld Color Layout - Need opinion

As the colors are random there’s always a slight possibility that two simultaneous exo’s have the same color for something and the flat 0 is correct, so maybe it shouldn’t automatically round the days to 1.

Alright, I gotta comment on the icon usage here, @Gorillastomp .

I use an extension in Firefox called Dark Reader (Also available for Chrome) which automatically and dynamically converts the eye-blindingly-bright design of this forum to a very nice dark theme. The new icons that are simply black icon images are actually … next to impossible to see. Could you see about possibly setting up a feint outer glow for those of us that use such an extension to be able to see the imagry? That would be amazing. Thank you.

@SephirothWS Tell me if you can see this properly : hourglassDarkmode

For the timelapse i will use :

  • 0 : When an Exo is still active with that color

  • <1 : When the Exo is dead within the same day of the new exo

  • : _When it’s on an Homeworld _

The numbers will be clickable to open the post of the Homeworld(lowest tier)/Exoplanet the color is on.

Gorillastomp you are seriously such a rockstar for this. It’s so helpful and appreciate all you do for us for these exoworlds! Thank you so much!

Love the date that it was least seen. I would round to even days. I also use a dark screen so some of what you use is hard to see on it. As stated above:

Otherwise great work.

can you see properly the one 4 post above ?

Still a fan of the current one over every new version. But every one seems to like clutter :joy:

Great job nonetheless.

With difficulty.

Could you send a screenshot of the latest Exoworld color layout ? I modified a bit the icons since then.

Since i added the homeworld link for color in exoworld post, would it be less intuitive if i remove the exo exclusive icon ?

Why not just use the infinity sign for the homeworld blocks, instead of the hourglass and infinity symbol? Having it use the same icon as the past exo one is a little confusing when you are just glancing over it trying to figure out which of the latest exos to divide your time up between. Still, very useful and and a great update, please don’t get me wrong!

Why not something simple like : (did this fast in html dont judge…could clean it up)
I’m not 100% sure what entity means…could have titles (hover text) on all the items with descriptions.

example

this has change since then, was using “entity” because to me 3d model item like flower aren’t a block. IT seems to confuse people so i just changed it to block in the legend description.

Latest layout is in the last exo here : [Hercul] --[T5 - Turbulent Coal Exoworld]-- [Active]

i don’t think this is possible in the forum, would be neat if it was.

need more comic sans…

well… tbh ill rather want them simple, like
E - exo only,
N - new,
T - transform/solidifuier,
F- found,
P - exist at perma world

etc
