Find you a level 1 planet to have as a starter planet. Make a decent base and look at as a backup base while you explore and find a planet you want for a permanent home.
Think taking it slow. There is no deadline, no set date to reach a set level or making certain items. Go at a pace you want.
The objectives are a guide, and not a you have to do this by this level. Some, in my opinion, should be ignored or seen as a late, late date to do. You do Not by week 2 have gone to a toxic planet to get gold or whatever it states you need to do. I’m at level 50 and have yet to done some of them and I don’t think I will ever start a settlement, make Viceroy or whatever some of the objectives have. Nor do I ever intend to make a portal, set up a hub or anything like that, especially just to get the objectives.
Put your plots near a settlement, near a portal so you have easy access to travel.
As for the spitters, you can run from the ones on level 2 planets, and as for the goats. I just place blocks of wood or stone and nerf up four or five blocks and shoot them. Or, use a grapple and hang from a tree and shoot away.

Thanks everyone
I was going toward the yellow dot to get to the main city and found Fireborn. Now I’m lost in their city and the yellow dot doesn’t show up lol. Anyone know which direction to go out of Fireborn to keep heading toward city until the compass is clear enough to show again?
Can you see in-game chat? I’m trying to find you to help.

Been there, done that so many times LOL Not laughing at you, just my memories of getting lost and yelling for help. Got my son out of bed a couple of times to help me when I got so lost I couldn’t find my way even to a portal.
It used to be that a purple rectangle meant a portal and you could go there and find a way off the planet. Now, many players have private portals locked behind doors and so isn’t a guarantee of a easy way off the planet. When you go through a portal, mark the location so you can find it again. Don’t remember if it is the default or not, but I click the letter L on the keyboard, bring up locations and click to save location and name it as the planet and portal location. So, for the portal on Angel 1 I would click to save location and go with Angel 1 Grindstone portal
Hope that helps. Good luck.
I do recommend finding a lvl 1 planet in your region and start there. Most the time your factory can stay there forever. Just move your shop to higher worlds & malls/market places. And after awhile youll see if you want to branch to a lvl3+ planet. but take your time. a lot of updates coming

mostly this!
there is a lot to the game if you slow down and be patient, lots of stuff is coming.
some people burn out from the grind or get to gem tools and figure they “finished” the game but they never stopped to smell the roses, so to speak (cloneflowers rather
)
We need some kinda chill flower/herb
Itll help folks slow down and smok… i mean smell the bouquet.
