Not from an correctness/offense standpoint- I thought the noose was kinda sad. Probably a lot more so for other people.
If anyone playing the game had a family member take a giant nail to the heart, I would also feel bad for them

Before people start outrage posting, Iām going to just come out and say that yes, I flagged all of the now hidden posts.
My blanket response; it is off topic. The few comments directly related to the doll and the removal of its noose remain, but the off tangent rant about political correctness etc has been flagged as it has no relevance to the topic at hand, and arguably no relevance to boundless either.
Ninja edit: I realize the topic of the post is not specifically the removal of the noose, but the update itself and the noose as an undocumented change. Ninja, vanish!

I also noticed that setting resin is now yellowā¦ i havent forged in about a week, so this might have changed with either the block release or halloween though.

Nope, itās basically not, BUT itās not needed, a scarf would have looked way nicer AND most of all WE might not be so PC around here but what if someone outside our little group of players sees a screenshot of it and splashes it all over social media?
Then in a few weeks Boundless has gotten so much negative press that we can forget trying to attract new playersā¦

Itās just a piece of a Halloween decoration no need to get so worked up about it and if it helps make sure the game keeps itās all ages rating and to not get negative press Iām all for it!
As someone who is still very much struggling with the disease youāre equating PC to I am so not a fan of using the word in any other context.
Iām here to forget my health issuesā¦

Didnāt realise the US constitution is now being used the world over? 
No matter if you think it is ok or not, the noose on a doll, letās not forget that the game we love is made by people in the UK who are trying to make a living of it. They can be stubborn about it and not change it at all but if it gets any negative press because of it it will be bad for their income AND in the end we will lose our beloved game.
I donāt think any of us want that. So we can keep discussing this until our eyes bleed but itās their decision to remove it.

We want more players, not less. And only the people here know that something was removed, new players wonāt know that but when a new players feels itās something negative when seeing it during the Halloween even (or after) then it will have a negative impact on the gameā¦

Halloween and horror story/ movie imagery IS though allowed under freedom of speech in our Constitution
You or I may not like some of it but just because a portion of the population is offended does not change the fact that it is protectedā¦
