The Beacon is used to allow you to build stuff and have it protected. Anything placed outside of a beacon can be taken by other players and will vanish over time (about 4 to 8 hours), You can expand how much the beacon protects by buying plots using the Cubits you get from leveling up, and using the plotting tool.

It is extremely important that you understand that the beacon must be fueled, and if you let it run out of fuel, the area will become unprotected and you will lose everything in that area.

The fuel is simple to make, but you need to keep on top of it.

I can not stress it enough as I have seen too many new players quit because they did not quite understand how important it is.

Do not let your beacon run out of fuel at anytime (unless you no longer care about its contents)
Do not wait until the last day to refuel your beacon
Do not add people who you do not trust to your beacon’s permission list

This is very good advice! The Regen/beacon thing got me in the beginning. Nothing like losing everything you’ve worked for to teach you a lesson.

Just clarifying this part, the cubits you use to buy plots are all earned in game simply by leveling. No additional real life purchase necessary unless you choose to. But you will get plenty of cubits by simply playing the game.

Edit: sorry I see the leveling part in there now but leaving this post up for emphasis lol

I gathered the beacon is really important so will keep an eye on it.
I guess it’s a way of playing the game regular. The thought of losing everything is reason enough to get on the game . Lol
Just need more time. Being a Clash of Kings player takes up a lot of my time. I have been playing COK for 5 years now and have the highest lvl castle there is.
All us Gamers need more hours in the day I think but even then it would not be enough!

If you find yourself really interested in the game you could join gleam club for $5 a month. As long as the subscription is active it will keep your beacons fueled automatically.

But for now you can easily make the 4 week fuel. 8 week and 16 week fuel is also craftable with higher level materials.
