With T7 and T8 planets being temporary they will always act as a global event. Exos are pretty much an extension of the meteor system, mini randomized content. Adding more things in this vein, such as invasions and titans, would be great. With no perm T7/8 that cycle of discovery and exploration is renewed everytime.

With how they have implemented the Exos I do not think there will be perms. Any perm T7/8 would make exos useless. Exos add a renewed exploration and discovery exoerience you just dont get with perms.

exos will always have the thrill of new colors. And if you look in one of the update post for the exo worlds they say there will be perm t7/8

Alot of people skip exos without unique colors. The T6 and lower planets get alot less use than the T7s. Exos are a unique content that should not be devalued with perms imo.

I find it odd and inconsistent that a rough ore of any rarity would be primarily obtained by hunters. Meteors need a different loot table that is more relevant to hunters. Especially with regard to umbris.

It reeks of place holder distribution mechanism.

Penalized? No. You just donā€™t get a trophy right away.

It encourages work.

If you dont hunt or mine. Then you probably wouldnt need a rare item anyways. In the end everyone gets what they need some how. Whether it be directly working on getting the item or working on gather the coin to purchase it.

I have slow internet where i live and am unable to hunt in groups no way im soloing a t7 meteor

You could get umbris from dormates. Its a small chance but I have gotten a few.

The 1st statement I quoted from you seems to set the tone in my book, and makes the rest of your argument seem more then a little pompous and self centered, It gives the tone that since now that you yourself have gone thru the effort to collect the items the hard way and may be getting close to being done, You would now want to suppress the ability for other people to collect items the easy way when the 3rd type of Exo world spawns, which in turn would reduce the value of the effort you put in.

I do Apologize if that is not your intent whatsoever by making your statements, but that is what it looks like it is designed to do, below the surface of your statements.

It would also be ruddy unfair for the devs to go back on the situation since they already said the Umbris will be spawning on a Exo world.

However I do agree there should be a very rare item that can be sold and used and stuff, the game needs rare items in the manor you propose, but it should NOT be Umbris

Im am encouraging the same amount of effort for more goals. Since I am almost finished with my current one has little to do with why I am suggesting this.

Only reason to do a T7 hunt right now is umbris. The oort meteorite green goop has no purpose to me. Once an umbris planet hits there will be little reason. Nothing is rare or hard to get I am looking for that item.

Right now there may be lots of items hard to get for new players. What about the old?

Splitting the community into haves and have nots isnā€™t deversaty, itā€™s elitism. Making something in the game practically impossible for the average person to gather a decent amount doesnā€™t benifit the community what so ever In my opinion. The exo worlds are hard enough for them, Iā€™m very active on this game and I was 3 hours late for the latest t7 and I didnā€™t find one spot that hadnā€™t been mined by someone. This idea if implemented will leave more people behind and benifit a only a few. It makes it far less attractive to those who plan on getting the game .

This is an amazing idea if your going to be one of the only people with a coils on the minter for a long period of time.

Just because youā€™ve played longer doesnā€™t entitle you into having advantages over others. The playing always should always be even, the only advantage us old players should have is our knowledge about the game and the time we have to put into this game.
