@olliepurkiss Are there plans for collapsible objectives?

I don’t mind, and even like, some of the objectives. But the way they sit there on the HUD taking up space is pretty annoying. I wish they would collapse, and then there would be an option/key that would let me select/collapse/expand them. I don’t like them constantly sitting there.

We’ll likely add an option in the menu to hide objectives as a user preference.

Also, we’ll be making further changes so objectives need to be activated to start tracking them and they are not all active at the same time from the start. So you could have zero active if you desired it.

What about objectives that are already finished? Like I have objectives asking me to do a stone furnace while I did that ages ago, will I have to rebuilt it again?

Oh, and when the rewards systems come out, will we get rewards for all previously completed objectives? or only the ones we finish after we get that feature? :smiley:

Not set in stone yet but it is more likely we will reset this because the current ones are mostly placeholder and we need to make sure the objectives are working correctly and the time it takes to complete each one offers players enough stuff to do over a certain amount of time.

If we did the unlock everything if you’ve already done it, we’ll see most players are completing 10 or more objectives in 0 seconds, which isn’t too helpful.

It also gives players a chance to give us feedback on objectives they’d like to see. Objectives are intended to be our tutorial and quest system. So if some are missing from the original list or could be updated to be more informative, then that information would be much appreciated.
