With the end of the public internet just around the corner, this game will have no life. As the world governments continue to destroy the world community through its actions it is only a matter of time before we no longer have safe public access to the internet. Thus all games that require internet users will be out of luck. I am hoping I am wrong about this but I do see us locked out of our internet access in 2020, yes I am a fortune teller! This is my rant and please tell me I’m wrong. 
I only know about Act 13 in the EU that is going to get implemented in 2019. Is America doing similar things? Act 13 won’t affect online gaming I think, but it will pretty much affect everything else

is creating an pixel art in boundless not somehow the same as uploading it somewhere and could affect article 13 aswell?

all i know is the idea about restricting “Hatespeech” all over the internet, wich is censorship to me.
No links. Just assumptions and general speculations. I’ve been watching the internet close up since I started on it in 1995. I’m just worried and ranting. (Woke up in a mood.) It’s why I posted it. I’m pretty sure I can rely on the knowledge of the Boundless community to set me on a less worrisome path.
I can’t look for the right answers online because of all the flashy noise that is being thrown at me. I’m just going with a gut feeling right now is all. 
Yeah, could very well be. And people won’t be able to make videos about Boundless anymore so no more Jivita and Ovis in the EU even if the devs have no problem with them. So I guess it does affect games, since less coverage means less reach and revenue. The consequences stretch far.
just start the game, chill and place some blocks to your precious home =)

Let me guess, you’re working on the next big thing. A consciousness communications service like the internet but in our own head? Oh give it time, advertisers will take it over and destroy that too.

Im not really worried.
I mean if half of what doomsdaysayers say come true then countires will have civil wars we’ll get a redistribution og recources and wealth and the things will be better for a while.
But yeh, i live in norway so ill be ok.
All the developed countries who try to opress or controll their people (russia, china, etc)
The countires screwed over by politicians, national debt and people avoiding taxes (greece, spain etc)
And the countries were the gap between rich and poor have spiraled out of controll (england, usa etc)
These pleaces will have major upheaval or civil wars.
We’ll just watch and go:
«ok, we aint doing that there! We’ll just drop trying to controll people if they go berserk like that! And i know the rich want more money but if we lessen our socialism then the worker/underclass will eventually snap so lets just keep this boat sailing»
