I’ve seen several times now that the devs call us citizen on several places in text description and also seen some post where devs reference us that way on the boundless forum too. Ive never seen the devs to refer us to oortian. But the community allways use Oortian / Oortling.
Devs what is your thoughts about it?

I always thought the oortians were the people who came before, and we are citizens finding out about them and their tech, and repopulating

I like Oortling though. 
(And like moebius said, some of us might be oortians. Waiting in the shadows and observing the world.

Erm… citizens don’t breed, they spawn in at sanctum.
I’ve read the sanctum manual and it appears that it is actually the Oort version of the easy bake oven. Take that as you will.
